Gulbenkian theatre releases autumn school’s listings - 24/07/2010

The Gulbenkian theatre in Canterbury has released its autumn listings for school groups, with productions suitable for all ages and Key Stages.

Between the 13th and the 14th September, Tall Stories will showcase its new adaptation of Room on the Broom, a new adventure from the creators of The Gruffalo – Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. On the 18th November, the theatre will show the Black Ram Theatre Company’s production of Ibsen’s .A Doll’s House which has been adapted for a 21st century audience, and has updated dialogue. The theatre will also be showing a Practical Productions version of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night on the 27th January 2011. For full listings, log onto the website.

For a small joining fee to the Gulbenkian Education Network (GEN), schools may benefit from discounted tickets on selected shows, access to backstage tours and workshops by visiting companies, advance notice of forthcoming productions and priority booking.
